Explorations into Sjogren’s syndrome

Sjogren’s syndrome (gān zaò zōng hé zhēng) is a type of connective tissue auto-immune disorder, formerly relatively rare to see in clinic but gradually increasing in recent times. At the time of the writing of this article there has still not been any definite or systematic understanding of its aetiology or pathology, and an assured method of treatment is likewise missing. Over the past few years I have been investigating the condition in the course of my practice, and have had a little bit of success, which I offer as the brick thrown to attract jade.
